Last Weekends Game: Stourport started well by going 2-0 up after 2 brilliant goals from Phil Lashford the first came from Peter Gibbons showed his talents by playing a ball across the goal leaving Bournville's keeper stranded and it was an easy finish by Phil. The 2nd qualified as from a penalty corner as it was a rebounded shot and again easily put in by Phil Lash poaching by the goal a good goal. Then Bournville broke back with 2 goals. Yet again a few questionable umpiring decisions left Stourport with their firt draw of the season! Next weeks tie is against Doncaster who stand 1 place below stour at the moment, come on boys lets get a win!

The 1st team have been playin quite well recently with new boys Rob Allan from Worcester and Pete Gibbon who used to be in reading 1sts and played for GB. Marc Edwards England Under 17 schoolboy, has scored a grand total of 1 national league goal from centre forward alongside phil lashford. Also we have 2 foreign players in the set-up imran and irfan the short corner masters who have loads of caps for pakistan. Catherine another newish addition to the set-up is a strict woman. Stu Hendy keeping the goals has proven to be one of the best keepers around showing amazing agility to make the hardest of saves. Mark Moss the little man playing left midfield and the very respectible under 18s coach. Ben Senior the defensive midfield marvel. Mark Harradine coming into the side with his stunning stick skills. Dan Packwood the youngster and wannabe accountant playing left back. Dave Westhead personally i think is the best player in the side although he shows a lot of laziness, teacher by day. Gwyn Williams (the older cav), Gwyn is new this year and although he shows that he looks like cav he also is a strong addition at the back with an effective tackle. More To Come...
